What was your perception of media before this lesson?
My perception about media before this lesson is that media had an impact on our society and daily lives. Formerly, it took time to communicate with someone, but modern technology has made life much simpler. Those who use it are better equipped to choose how they will contribute in promoting equality, dialogue, access to knowledge, and sustainable development. In addition, to provide news, it discusses national and international events. We learn about the government’s operations based on this information.

What is your view on media now?
Via media, we may communicate with people on a large scale and in great detail about various topics. Yet, when utilized negatively,media can be incredibly harmful to our mental health and has played a role in the rise of societal issues and anxiety in our world. The media have a significant impact on forming and influencing public opinion as well as advancing civilization. The democratic sword arm is the media. The media serves as a watchdog to guard against wrongdoing and raise public awareness.

What is the most relevant function of media? Why?
The most relavant function of media is disseminating news to the public about significant events or critical information is the media’s most crucial role. Sending and sharing information is the main goal of every media. Media organizations disseminate timely, reliable data and opinions to a large audience as instructional tools because knowledge is power and information is knowledge.

Can you recall a recent situation where media and information literacy could have been useful?
Being media and information literate is helpful in everyday life for me as a student because I utilize media every day. Forgot instance, because I am well-versed in media and information, I can quickly determine whether the article or news I am reading in the media is accurate or simply false, and I can create an opinion based on my observations.
